Happiness
It would not be wrong to say that your happiness and unhappiness
depend on the great extent on yourselves. Each person is the
creation of this own thought. He becomes what he feela about
himself. It ban ve said that the greatest cause of unhappiness
i the world is out attachment to the worldly things and our ambition
to acquire them. We are mistaken when we regard worldly pleasure
to be the same as spiritual bliss. If a person want to be happy
all the time, he should not be attached to any worldly object.
This is known as the yoga of detachment. One should be like a
lotus which swings majestically while being in the water. Happniess
is a power which gives us strength even during tragedy.
How to be Happy:- Laughter
There is a saying in English "Eat an apple a day, keep the
doctor away. A Doctor in England changed this saying and "Have
a hearty laughter a day and keep sickness away." This Doctor
held the view that to keep children healthy and energetic it is
very necessary that they keep on laughing. If the teachers of school
children with whom they spent a lot of time remain angry and are
of dull nature, the children might become dull and unwell.
When we laugh the muscle of the belly become active and more digestive
juices are produced. The circulation of blood improves. Those whoe
are always laughing they seldom have constipation. They have good
appetite, they can digest more food. When we laugh heartily, our
hunger is doubled. It is seen that those who laugh quite often
are fat and healthy. Laughter is a kind of pleasant exercise. During
laughter, many muscles of the face, neck, chest and belly become
active simultaneously. The nervous and blood vessels of these parts
of body are also toned up by laughter. Those who laugh often do
not get illness of lungs. In Paris, a doctor cures many patients
just by making them laugh. He asks all this patients to sit blind
folded in a hall every Sunday. Then he plays a gramaphone record
full of humour. All the patiens begin to laught together. When
patients hear others laugh their healthm improves quickly.
"Laugh without Reason"
There is "Laughing Yog" in
ancient yoga book. This holds more important in types of yoga.
If youd practice it twice a day, mental diseases will be cured.
There is way to practice laughing yoga. It is difficult to laugh
without reason, but after practice one will know how to do in a
daily routine.
Two types of Laugh
This laugh is divded into two types: Artificial
laugh and Natural laugh. Created laugh, which you can control is
known as artificial laugh. On the other hand laugh which comes
from your heart and can not control, which is involuntary is known
as natural laugh. Artificial laugh is good for the body, which
gives exercise of muscles around the face, neck, chest and belly.
Where as Natural laugh is good for mind. During Natural laugh the
pituary gland produce, endorphin, an enzyme which will help you
overcome fear, anger, depression and ego.
Laughing Yoga develops our sense of humour. In laughing yoga class,
we laugh in a group. Laughing progressively breaks down our inhibitions,
mental blocks which have been created by our ownself, own parents
and society. Once these barriers are dissolved, the infinite potential
to laugh unfolds and automatically our sense of humour will start
flowing.
